Refugee Zakat Fund
A platform with a greater purpose.
The context
A platform with a greater purpose.
UNHCR developed the Refugee Zakat Fund as a structured way to direct Zakat support to eligible refugee and internally displaced families. The digital platform gives the programme a clear public home and explains how Zakat can support vulnerable families.
The experience brings programme information, trust and donation guidance together in one place while communicating UNHCR’s approach to Zakat distribution and the humanitarian impact of the fund.
